FAST is a leading innovator in factory automation, robotics, semi-conductors and switch gear protection, helping global manufacturers solve complex production challenges for over 25 years. We design and deliver automation systems that combine smart design, advanced software, and robust execution to drive performance, efficiency, and reliability.

As the business enters a major phase of international growth, we are appointing a Head of Operational Excellence to drive delivery performance, build capability, and embed continuous improvement across operations. This newly created role will play a key part in shaping the systems and behaviours required to scale globally.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead a 20-strong team across a technical and project delivery workforce. You will introduce greater structure to planning and execution, optimise factory layout and digital systems, and apply Lean methodologies to ensure automation, direct control systems, and semiconductor projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

We are seeking an engineering-minded operations leader with a strong track record and success in delivering operational excellence, ideally within advanced manufacturing. You will bring project management strength, continuous-improvement expertise, and the confidence to influence multidisciplinary teams and improve how work gets done.

This is a high-impact role with autonomy, visibility, and international exposure, backed by a culture that values precision, accountability, and teamwork. Fast Technologies operates a condensed four-day working week and offers a competitive package designed to attract exceptional talent.
